CITY OF NEW BRUNSWICK WATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The City of New Brunswick recently closed on a $36,000,000 loan with the NJ Water Bank to implement improvements for the efficiency and reliability of the water treatment plant to continuously meet current demands and standards. The project includes structural and architectural repairs, as well as plant security upgrades. Outdated technology will be replaced in the clarification system to improve coagulation. The lime system pipe replacement will eliminate clogging problems that have limited the plant's ability to control influent pH.
