FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP SA SOMERSET STREET BYPASS PUMP

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Franklin Township Sewerage Authority ("FTSA") recently closed on a $8,540,358 loan with the NJ Water Bank to perform television inspection of approximately 20,000 feet of existing gravity sewer. Depending on what the inspection reveals, the FTSA is prepared to address problems that require trenchless manhole to manhole cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining, service lateral lining, and manhole rehabilitation. The proposed project will also include the installation of a dedicated diesel high flow pump at the pump station to provide high flow conveyance as peak flows are reduced in the drainage area. These changes will restore the structural integrity of the sewerage system and potentially reduce extraneous flow.
