JCMUA WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority ("JCMUA") recently closed on a $11,640,000 loan with the NJ Water Bank to replace approximately 19,000 linear feet of water main in Jersey City bounded by Linden Avenue in the south, Lincoln Street in the north, Jersey Avenue in the east, and Dales Avenue in the west. JCMUA's water supply system delivers on average approximately 52 million gallons of water per day and supplies potable water for domestic consumption, commercial and industrial use, and fire protection.
