NEWTON TOWN EQUIPMENT PURCHASE

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Newton Town recently closed on a $1,703,278 loan with the NJ Water Bank to purchase two street sweepers, one vacuum truck, two heavy duty pickup trucks, and one dump truck. The Town is seeking 100% principal forgiveness under affordability criteria to purchase the equipment through a Cooperative Pricing Program. The objective is to clean and maintain the stormwater sewer system and benefit both the public and local ecosystem by reducing the amount of sediment entering the system and removing previous build up.
