The City of Lambertville MUA recently closed on a $2,200,000 loan with the NJ Water Bank to upgrade the Coryell and Swan Street pump stations by the D&R Canal. Originally built in 1955, these stations have undergone prior upgrades but now require major improvements. At Coryell Street, the control building must be raised seven feet to meet city and NJDEP regulations. This requires demolishing and replacing the building, which will house updated electrical equipment, pump controls, instrumentation, and a SCADA panel. The Swan Street Pump Station, rebuilt in 1980, will receive electrical upgrades, a new wet well cover, and modifications to improve access and safety.
