ROCKAWAY VALLEY RSA LOAN CLOSING

Rockaway Valley RSA recently closed on a $13,034,996 loan with the NJ Water Bank to ensure compliance with the current NJPDES effluent parameters. This project consists of upgrades to enable compliance with an anticipated phosphorous effluent limitation by adding a chemical storage and feed system automating the biological nutrient removal process and minimizing chemical consumption. In addition, the SCADA system will be improved to enhance monitoring and control. The return and waste sludge pumping systems will be modified and improved, and an oxidation ditch will be structurally and mechanically improved.
