Seaside Park Borough recently closed on a $70,200 loan with the New Jersey Water Bank for the completion of a water utility asset management plan (AMP). The AMP includes the five following objectives: 1. A leak detection survey. The compilation of quotes for review and award to the lowest bidder; 2. AMP & 10-year capital plan. A tour of all water utility facilities for inventory and assessment of infrastructure conditions; 3. A utility system rate evaluation. A rate structure examination and development of a rate structure to fund the capital improvement plan; 4. GIS Water Utility Infrastructure System Mapping. The verification of all existing water utility structures and an update of the current GIS map for the Borough's use; 5. A lead and copper sampling plan. The generation of a revised lead and copper plan.
